Believe it or not, wine history in Crete dates back to the minoan civilization! The oldest vineyard and wine- press in Europe was discovered by archaeologists in Crete, dating back almost 4000 years. This is a tour tailored to satisfy you, only if you are a wine enthusiast that wishes to delve into the ultimate world of wine experience! This tour has at its center the exciting and versatile world of wine from start to finish.

First Winery

The first stop is at a winery with a traditional approach of production, where you will try 5 wines accompanied with Cretan snacks.

Second Winery

The next winery that you will visit uses cement tanks and the tasting consists of 6 different varieties of wine paired with local cheese and meat cold cuts. An urban winery with history dating three generations back, where its people and experts in wine are dedicated to answer all your questions about Cretan wine and show you around in the Vineyard Garden.
